SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY
Wade’s Restaurant has a rich history in Spartanburg, SC and is proud to support our community’s post-secondary education opportunities. Founder Wade Lindsey attended Spartanburg Methodist College, Wade Lindsey III proudly attended Wofford College and Hamp Lindsey’s wife attended Converse University.
The Wade’s Culture of Excellence Scholarship is awarded to one active Wade’s Restaurant team member each school year who plans to attend, or is currently attending, one of the seven local college or universities in Spartanburg. The purpose of this scholarship is to recognize an outstanding team member who achieves excellence not only in the workplace, but outside of the workplace in academics. This is a $3,000 scholarship.
